Hey all, sorry have been out of town, since wed. :( Ok, the poll closed, and the most votes were go to a park and cook out..
So, Now the question becomes, which Park to go to, that is closet to most members? And when do we want to do it?.... I've got to go out of town again Next wed- Sunday..
Then Sept 13- 29 I'm tied up with the Midsouth fair.. so None of those weekends will work for me.. But, if you want, all of you can go ahead and do it and I'll catch up on the next round..:)
We also need to discuss what for everyone to bring, so everyone don't bring the same things ! LOL
and how many family members will be attending so we have enough food for all ..
Have a question.. for any of you not working..Would any of you like to volunteer at the Mid-South Fair. Working in the Lil buckaroo's Barn.. It where Children learn about life on a farm.. They gather fake eggs, pick apples, dig potatos .. then move on to milk a cow, and rope a bulls head, learn how to pump water at an old timey pump. ride stick horses through a maze, and climb on a wooden tractor and slide down the back..
I'll be the supervisor of the building, so I'll help all I can!!
You'll have free Parking and free admission. the barn is open from 10 am till 8 pm all but the last day when we will close it at 5 pm.
